Most participants will "drive & dive" this trip as it's approximately 800 miles from Alexandria, Virginia.  All certified divers will have the opportunity to experience the overhead environment in the world-famous Ginnie Spring.  The Ginnie Spring is one of only a few cavern environments classified safe for all certified divers including those without specialized cavern training.  The cavern is made safe by the application of a fixed metal grate permanently blocking access to the cave environment, a large permanently installed rope marking the exit, and glow sticks attached to the line.   But be careful, the cavern is so visually intriguing many trip participants sign up for Cavern Diver on the next scheduled trip after just one look!

Note:  Not all dives sites are appropriate for all divers.
